• Your child engage with music more and sing at home spontaneously
• Your child exhibit a stronger sense of rhythm and pulse
• Your child begin to learn, recognize, and internalize fundamental musical concepts and notations
• Your child enjoy and ask for each's week's audio recordings and Fun Sheet assignment
• Nurturing your whole child; we do not believe in specializing in an instrument in the first years of music learning — instead your child learns through the instrument they already have, the body.
• Including your child's input in the learning process
• Meeting your child where they are at
• Encouraging your child's love of music
• Developing your child's understanding of music. This is not a class where your child will just dance around to a recording; they engage with making live improvised music, and discover how it is structured.
• Making concepts simple for your child to master and remember
• We believe understanding music fosters love of music; and progressing challenge fuels enjoyment!

My daughter LOVES this class… We started her on piano at 6 after two years with Dalcroze and it is obvious how much she understands and has internalized musical ideas, theory and feel.
— Tommy G., parent of a Dalcroze Eurhythmics student

In this class, your child uses purposeful movement (as well as work with instruments and props, social interaction, and imagination activities) with the express purpose of building a strong sense of pulse, understanding of musical concepts, and musical expression

Through a playful and interactive means of learning, your child learns musical fundamentals and notation including concepts of register, arhythm (quarter, eighth, and half notes), dynamics, phrase, pitch (scale degree numbers and pitch names), meter (2-time and 3-time), and other expressive tools

Children who develop their ear, musical feel and skills before learning an instrument are often told they are progressing much more quickly than the average student
